UFC middleweight fighter Bo Nickal has had an amazing wrestling career. He, however, looks like somebody who is constantly looking for new challenges. After some outstanding performances in Dana White’s Contender Series, the 27-year-old finally got his first outing in the UFC. Bo Nickal was to face Jamie Pickett. The 4-0 record holder made short work of Pickett‘s challenge and submitted him in the first round of the fight.
While Nickal fans rejoiced in their favorite’s victory, Pickett‘s team was not too happy and claimed the fighter was defeated by using unfair means.

While the team has lodged a complaint against Nickal with Nevada State Athletic Commission, the 27-year-old was seen having a good time with a NASCAR sensation. Earlier, when asked about the foul play and allegations, Bo Nickal had been very stern and straight in denying any such accusation.
Bo Nickal seen with NASCAR driver
Legacy Motor Club driver Noah Gragson, who drives the #42 Chevrolet, was seen posing like a fighter with Bo Nickal. His car was seen parked behind the Duo. The 24-year-old holds the record for winning the highest number of NASCAR Xfinity series victories. Gragson is being hailed as a sensation, and it seemed that he loved meeting the UFC middleweight. Gragson‘s caption for the picture called the 7-0 record holder a champ.
Nickal will hope that his debut victory remains as it is and the NSAC doesn’t overturn the decision following the complaints from Jamie Pickett‘s team. He would like to stretch his winning streak for as long as he can. That will be the most important thing if Nickal aspires to take a shot at the title.
Nickal not impressed by the allegations
While team Pickett wrote a letter to NSAC asking for replays to manage fair play. They felt that Pickett was taken down and submitted while he was dealing with a low blow. Bo Nickal didn’t like the allegations and termed the move from his opponent’s team “weird”.
Talking to the media, Nickal responded to the allegations. He said, “I hit him in the leg, in the thigh,” he said. “I had him in a bad position along the wall. He wanted to get off the wall, and he wanted the ref to stop it. If I were to have actually hit him low, I would feel bad because I don’t want to win that way. I’m not a cheater.”

He further added, “I’m not somebody who tries to take shortcuts. If I did hit him low, I would’ve just relaxed probably or let the ref stop it. But I didn’t hit him low at all, so it’s a weird move, bro.”

Nickal‘s last two fights have been some easy submissions. If he really didn’t land a low blow on Pickett during his first-round victory, it could be classified as a great performance. With 4 Pro-MMA victories under his belt, Nickal is off to a good start, fans will hope he keeps going on.
