On show #1196 of The Joe Rogan Experience, NASCAR driver, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Joe Rogan sat for a conversation. During the prolonged talk came a point where the driver explained how the temperature inside the car rises to 150 degrees during a race. Meanwhile, Earnhardt also mentioned that a driver loses around 10 pounds during a race.
It began with Rogan asking, “You must be sweating like a pig inside those things [cars] right?” To this, the professional driver replied, “you sweat a ton. You lose anywhere around six to eight pounds a race. It’s all just water weight, and you put it right back on in a day or two.”
Joe Rogan then curiously questioned, “is it really hot in the car?”
