Though quite rare, the UFC and Dana White are not unfamiliar with having fighters take substances to boost their performances inside the octagon. Given how combat sports come with an incredibly high risk of injury, taking substances to get an edge over your opponent is highly frowned upon. And newly signed UFC featherweight, Khusein Askhabov seems to be the most recent defaulter.

The UFC keeps trying its best to prevent fighters from cheating, however, there are fighters who do not seem to want to comply with the rules. There have been fighters and champions who have tested positive for banned substances and ended up facing massive penalties. The 23-1 fighter is no exception.

The Combat Sports Anti-Doping (CSAD) has announced that the fighter from Chechen Republic has received a two-year suspension for violating the UFC Anti-Doping Policy. It seems that the reports came from the time Dana White’s new doping partner, Drug-Free Sport International (DFSI), took a sample from Askhabov outside of competition in Grozny, Chechen Republic.

In the sample, Askhabov tested positive for Methandienone (Dianabol or D-Bol) metabolites, 17β-Methyl-5 β -androst-1-ene-3a,17a-diol, 17-epimethandienone, and 17 β -Hydroxymethyl,17a-methyl-18-nor-androst-1,4,13-trien-3-one (LTM). Considering Anabolic Steroids are a prohibited substance in the UFC prohibited list, it was a no-brainer that the featherweight prospect would face some consequences for using the banned substances.

This isn’t the only disappointment that fans are facing from UFC prospects these past few days. The recent UFC event had one of the most bizarre moments in the history of the portion. And the UFC CEO, Dana White was furious about the incident.

Undefeated UFC flyweight prospect, Igor Severino had his first loss in his career via. DQ. The UFC flyweight bit his opponent, Andre Lima after he felt that he was losing the edge in the fight. The UFC CEO, Dana White, was furious at Severino’s action cutting him from the roster as soon as the fight was over.

He sent a message to Kevin Iole weighing in on the incident. In the message, White wrote, “Those were two up-and-coming undefeated fighters. If you get frustrated and want out of the fight, there are plenty of ways to do it. But the worst thing you can do is bite your opponent.
