In an interesting take, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu great Gordon Ryan shared Musk’s quote from the interview in a post on Instagram.

Elon Musk has found himself amidst controversies many times. The controversies increased when he acquired Twitter. He recently appeared in an interview with CNBC to discuss the comments and opinions he shared on social media.

The Tesla owner was asked why he was so vocal about his political opinions on Twitter. There are many people who may not agree with Elon Musk. But he couldn’t care less. Musk told the interviewer about a quote from the movie, ‘The Princess Bride’. He said, “You know, I am reminded of a scene from ‘A Princess Bride’, a great movie.

Elon Musk added, “He [the character of Inigo Montoya] confronts the person who killed his father and he says, ‘Offer me money, offer me power, I don’t care.'”

Musk claimed to be exercising his freedom of speech. He doesn’t care about how people perceive his opinions. But the entrepreneur will not back down from saying what he feels like, even if it means that the outcome proves critical in terms of his finance. He added, “I will say what I wanna say. And if the consequence of that is losing money, so be it.”

Owing to this, a professional fighter has showered his support for Elon Musk’s comments during the interview.

Gordon Ryan quotes the tech billionaire

‘The Iron Dragon’ is not new to creating controversies. He has been on the firing line of criticism for his activities on social media. However, Gordon Ryan seems to share the same sentiment just like Elon Musk and appears to be unapologetic about it.

He recently shared a post with a picture of the tech billionaire and his quote from the CNBC interview. He posted this just days after congratulating Mark Zuckerberg on his first BJJ competition win. Although Gordon Ryan has accomplished much in jiu-jitsu and grappling, he is determined to continue sharing his opinions on social media regardless of how people perceive them.
