Conor McGregor has sent shockwaves through the entire globe as he made grand appearances on the Monaco Grand Prix, in the last two years. The first time, he docked in his multimillion-dollar Lamborghini Yacht, sending his fans into a frenzy, in 2022. In the last year, increased the fans’ entropy with an extravagant purchase. But what does the Irish mixed martial artist have in mind for this year’s Monaco GP? 

McGregor is set to return to the Octagon following a 3-year hiatus, against Michael Chandler. Without a doubt, the fighter requires a bit more time at the training camp. With the Grand Prix this weekend, colliding with the dates of his training, McGregor’s two-year-old tradition is on the verge of breaking.

‘The Notorious’ was recently featured in a live stream by ‘Duelbits’ wherein the Irishman earned some green bills while dropping some bombshells on top of the fighting community. One such shell dropped when a fan asked McGregor whether he would return to the Formula 1 race track in Monte Carlo on his superyacht or not. Unfortunately, the ‘Mystic Mac’ is going to make a comeback after being out of action for about three years, during the time when the Monaco GP would be held. Needless to say, the fighter is currently in his training camp, doing his best to level up and claim a victory at UFC 303. 

McGregor replied, “Not this year. Not this season, I’m afraid. I had a great time last year. We won’t be going this season because, obviously, we are in training camp.” Furthermore, he revealed that his $3.2 million Lamborghini yacht was in Majorca, a beautiful island in Spain. But he had to go to Vegas in two weeks. Without a doubt, his eyes were shadowed by disappointment. But there was a glow about his return to the Octagon, as well.

“And I go to Vegas now in 2 weeks. When is the Monaco Grand Prix, this week, is it? This week? This weekend? It’s absolutely amazing out there, yeah. But, not this season, I’m afraid,” said the Irish fighter. Without a doubt, the Dubliner seemed to be completely focused on his upcoming fight against ‘Iron’. But the F1 racetracks in Monte Carlo had quite impressive vibes. So how were the Irishman’s last two visits to the Monaco Grand Prix?

Conor McGregor arrived at the 2022 Monaco GP in great style. He docked at the event on his $3.2 million dollar superyacht. However, things turned sour for the fighter pretty soon. He picked the American team to thrive because he was a guest of Haas. But Mick Schumacher got a red flag waved as he got himself trapped in a terrible crash, that left his F1 speedster broken in half.

In 2023, a video of the ‘Mystic Mac’ went viral, wherein he was seen dancing throughout the venue and enjoying himself. Doubtlessly, the fans were left in utter disappointment and pointed fingers at McGregor for not training or taking up the fight against Chandler. But this time, ‘The Notorious’ has heard the pleas of the fight fans. He admitted that he was under intense training for his fight coming up at UFC 303.
