There seems to be no end to the Joe Rogan Spotify controversy. The longtime UFC commentator also has his own podcast, which airs on the audio streaming service.

Recently, it has been subjected to a lot of criticism because of apparently spreading misinformation about the COVID-19 vaccine. People have taken shots at Spotify as well for supporting Rogan. Singers like Neil Young and Joni Mitchell removed most of their music from the platform last week. Singer-songwriters Graham Nash and India Arie seem to be following in their footsteps and plan to remove their music as well.

However, there is another name that has been added to the list. Twitch streamer and content creator, Amouranth, has given Spotify an ultimatum. In a recent tweet, she asked them to remove Rogan or she’ll remove her song from the platform. She wrote, If @Spotify doesn’t remove @joerogan then I will be removing my rap video from the platform. They can have me or Joe Rogan. Not both.”

Joe Rogan gets the support of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson

Joe Rogan, after all the controversy, uploaded a video on his Instagram. In the video, he explained his take but also said that maybe he’ll try harder to get people with differing opinions.

Despite facing a lot of backlash, there are some big names that sided with Rogan. One such name is Dwayne Johnson. The former WWE superstar and movie star commented on Rogan’s video. He wrote, “Great stuff here, brother. Perfectly articulated. Look forward to coming on one day and breaking out the tequila with you.”
