This was shocking, considering the ‘Eagle’ was then on a 13-fight win streak, with the last three being title defenses. According to the Dagestani, this decision came due to a promise he made to his mother.

But despite his departure from the sport, fans can’t help themselves from obsessing over the fighter’s life. Whatever Khabib Nurmagomedov does, it becomes headline. And this time, it’s an old video of Khabib’s time with his cousins that is spreading on the internet like wildfire.

In a brief clip, we can see Khabib Nurmagomedov playing the online competitive FPS game, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO). The current lightweight champion and Khabib’s cousin, Islam Makhachev, can be seen here as well. While Khabib is using his laptop to enjoy the game, Makhachev is rocking a full-blown gaming rig.

For those unaware, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive or CS: GO is a popular competitive shooter. For more than a decade of its existence, it has remained the quintessential game of its genre. Lately, it has lost some of its traction due to the emergence of new competitors like Valorant and Overwatch 2. Nevertheless; the game remains fairly popular in the E-sport scene.

Interestingly, in this game, Khabib chose Tito Ortiz, another UFC fighter known for his wrestling, as his character. While Khabib’s love for football is hidden from none, it seems like the ‘Eagle’ enjoys video games as well.
