A large chunk of combat sports fans may have problems accepting Dillon Danis as a fighter. Although Danis made a name for himself as the noted UFC icon, Conor McGregor’s Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor, his combat sports record may cause fans to reject him as a fighter. Moreover, Danis has a habit of building up fights but doesn’t show up on the matchday. This time his upcoming fight against the YouTuber-WWE star, Logan Paul, is in jeopardy due to similar reasons.

Several fans had been well into the intense buildup of the fight. It involved ‘El Jefe’ taking several jibes at Logan’s girlfriend, Nina Agdal, through his ‘X’ updates. However, it also landed him in legal trouble as Agdal filed a lawsuit against him. But a large chunk of them stood shocked when Danis recently provided another hint about pulling out from his bout against Logan Paul.

Most fans are probably aware of how both Paul and Danis chose the platform of ‘X’ to build up their fight. A lot of them were excited about Danis’ promotion techniques for the fight involving Paul’s girlfriend. Although ‘El Jefe’ didn’t have pretty tasteful words to say about Paul’s girlfriend, Nina, he still was receiving a lot of attention.

But things took a severe turn when Danis put out another update, hinting at his pullout from the bout. He took to his ‘X’ account once more today, on 6 October, and retweeted a section from Logan’s brother, Jake Paul’s YouTube video. It showcased the Paul brothers talking about how Danis would have to show up for the fight, since he didn’t have enough resources to pay the lawsuit charges filed against him by Logan’s girlfriend, Nina.

However, it was the caption to his retweet that had the fans speculating about another pullout from the former Bellator MMA competitor. Danis penned, “Logan bragging about lawsuits again he isn’t built for the fight game, this pu**y doesn’t deserve me I’m out.”

However, after looking at the words of the Paul brothers in the video, a number of fans may opine that pulling out of the bout isn’t an option for Danis currently. But, another person’s involvement in the Paul-Danis ‘X’ showdown, prompted fans to think the latter was actually pulling out of the bout.

The involvement of Mike Perry provided another hint before Dillon Danis cleared the air

The noted former UFC fighter and current BKFC icon, Mike Perry, came into the frame after Danis hinted that he might pull out of the bout. Several sources put up a video from ‘Platinum’ Perry where he said, “It’s official guys. I’m in”.

Quite expectedly, several fans now thought that Danis had actually pulled out of the bout. But ‘The Maverick’ Paul alerted fans not to believe Danis. The noted Youtuber put out an update on his own ‘X’ account listing the consequences that Danis will have to face if he opts to pull out of his fight.

However, it was Danis himself who came out to clear the air regarding this entire pullout conversation. Initially, ‘El Jefe’ posted an update where he implied that he was just goofing when he talked about pulling out of the bout.

After this, he also put out a few more updates to confirm that he was going to be there on the day of the fight, i.e. 14 October. The most convincing one of them also came with a snap of Danis training for the bout.
