Dillon Danis is most well known for being an online troll and Conor McGregor‘s friend. Although ostensibly a professional fighter, Danis has only two fights in the Bellator on his pro record. His recent turn toward the celebrity boxing scene has furthered the narrative that he is not serious about his fighting career.

And UFC welterweight title contender Colby Covington, ahead of his title bout against Leon Edwards at UFC 296 this December, revealed what he thinks about the upcoming Dillon Danis vs. Logan Paul boxing match. In an interview with James Lynch, Covington laid bare his thoughts and gave out his prediction for the much-anticipated bout.

Dillon Danis and Logan Paul will face each other in their grudge match on October 14 in Manchester. And in a recent interview, Colby Covington was asked what he thought about Danis denigrating Paul’s fiancee, Nina Agdal, ahead of their bout. Danis has been targeting Agdal and trying to paint her as a promiscuous woman who has been involved with a lot of men to troll Paul. The two sides are even involved in a legal dispute because of this.

The California native was dismissive of Danis as a fighter, he felt the Bellator fighter had no striking ability, and predicted that he would get dominated by Paul. “D*ldo Danis is not a fighter. That guy can’t throw a punch; he literally couldn’t punch his way out of a wet paper bag. So the guy shouldn’t be there. He’s just there to get his a*s whooped by Logan, and, you know, I think Logan starches himCovington told James Lynch.

The welterweight added that he wasn’t really caught up on the lore surrounding the fight. He said they were not serious fighters and more akin to a circus sideshow. He further stated he didn’t care about their fight. “I haven’t really been paying attention to it because it’s a circus sideshow. Bro, like these guys, aren’t real fighters… I just, I could care less about their fight,” he said.

However, the Oregon State alum was complimentary about one thing that Danis was doing right. He said that Danis had a good ghostwriter for his social media who had manufactured a lot of drama and really hyped up the fight. “He’s got a good guy that’s behind the screen, ghostwriting for him,” the 35-year-old said.

Logan Paul is a star in the WWE who has fought perhaps the greatest boxer ever Floyd MayweatherAnd Danis has a proven BJJ track record as well as two fights in Bellator. But, despite those qualifications, most will find it difficult to disagree with Covington’s analysis.
