Dillon Danis is an excellent troll. Although ostensibly a professional fighter, he only has two pro fights in the Bellator on his resume. But, what he is most famous for is social media shenanigans and being friends with Conor McGregor.

But, he is finally in the spotlight for an upcoming fight as he gears up to face WWE star Logan Paul in his boxing debut on October 14 in Manchester, England. And ahead of the bout, he spoke about his relationship with McGregor, which drew a response from ‘Mac’.

In an interview with DAZN, Dillon Danis spoke about his relationship with Conor McGregor. He stated that he considered McGregor one of his best friends, his training partner, and a mentor. The pair, according to Danis, have been there for each other during hard times. The Bellator fighter posted this clip in a tweet on his account.

“One of my best friends, training partners, mentors. Very good friend, you know. He’s always been there for me, and I’ve always been there for him. We have a great relationship and I consider him one of my best friends,” Danis said in an interview.

‘Notorious’ replied to the tweet and bucked Danis up. He urged the 30-year-old to break Paul’s leg in their upcoming boxing match. He felt that Paul’s heart and wrist were broken after Danis’ relentless trolling of his fiancee.

“Let’s go brother! Logans broken. Broken wrist. Broken heart. Pull guard and break his leg. Depending. Enjoy! Cash in time. Well done! Respect. Make the walk and you a winner,” the former two-division champion tweeted.

Logan Paul’s fiancee sues Danis for social media harassment

Ever since the fight was announced, Danis has been firing on all cylinders in going after Logan Paul on social media. Specifically, he has been targeting Paul’s fiancee Nina Agdal, posting pictures of the Danish model with other men online. This has created a lot of hype and excitement for the fight, outshining even the headline bout between KSI and Tommy Fury, and is being hailed as an outstanding example of fight promotion.

Paul and his fiancee, however, have not taken the trolling in stride and responded in a manner that some, such as Tristan Tate and Chael Sonnen consider crossing the line. Paul had initially threatened to pull out of the fight if Danis did not scale back his trolling. And, recently Agdal has filed a lawsuit against the BJJ black belt and is suing him for defamation.
