Boxing and WWE star Logan Paul have an important connection to the UFC. Earlier this year, Paul, and his business partner KSI’s energy drink PRIME, became the official sports drink of the UFC. Paul and KSI saw a massive boost to their brand following the deal with the promotion. PRIME branding has been prominent at UFC events and in the octagon since the deal. However, one thing was supposedly missing and UFC star Joaquin Buckley pointed it out. Now, the 28-year-old has come up with a cheeky response to the fighter who called for reform from PRIME for UFC athletes.
Joaquin Buckley had a very successful night at the office at UFC Vegas 73. The former middleweight changed weight classes and fought Andre Fialho at welterweight. Buckley finished the fight by knocking out Fialho with a head kick in the second round. Following the win, a fired-up Buckley got on the mic and called out Logan Paul.
He said, “Logan Paul, you got your PRIME sh*t all over the place. Sponsor athletes for the UFC fool, come on bruh! Get your boy ‘New Mansa’ in the building, Like, get it!”

Shortly after Buckley’s proposal, Paul took to Twitter to deliver a cheeky response.

PRIME hydration co-founder Logan Paul had a few jokes up his sleeve about the call-out. Buckley’s callout apparently reached Paul’s ears and the 28-year-old took the time to reply. Following his fight, Buckley dumped a bottle of PRIME all over himself. Paul used a picture of this as a means to respond to Buckley and get a bit of free promotion.
In a recent tweet, he wrote, “Tonight, PRIME became the first hydration drink ever to be allowed in the octagon for combat @ufc.”

While Paul’s joke is all well and good, this does raise the issue of sponsorships. Several fighters have complained about not being able to procure sponsors, as the UFC no longer allows sponsor logos inside the octagon. Hence, Buckley may have had a creative solution to the problem.
What are your thoughts on Buckley’s proposition? What do you think of Pauk’s response? And what did you make of ‘New Mansa’s’ UFC Vegas 73 fight?
