Israel Adesanya created quite a buzz in the MMA world recently. ‘Izzy’ along with the UFC Featherweight king, Alexander Volkanovski, were elected as the face of ‘PRIME Hydration Drinks’, the noted YouTuber-boxer and WWE star, Logan Paul’s brand-new business venture. Further, a casual meeting between them following their business deal showcased the two UFC athletes grappling Paul turn by turn.

Later, when ‘Izzy’ joined Paul’s podcast, he revealed his “dream” of becoming the WWE, Boxing, and UFC champion at the same time someday. Although ‘Izzy’ looked cool with Paul’s WWE and boxing aspirations, he was certainly startled to know that Paul wanted to be a UFC champion as well. Looking at the fact that Paul would come under his weight class only, Adesanya detested Paul’s UFC ambitions.

Recently, the famed UFC Bantamweight, ‘Sugar’ Sean O’Malley, picked up on this topic. He gave out his opinion about Paul’s desire to step inside the octagon against Izzy. Quite evidently, ‘Sugar’ favored his UFC colleague in this regard but also had a few positive words for Paul.

Sean O’Malley implied Logan Paul could beat Israel Adesanya in MMA but not on earth

A lot of fans might have found Paul’s dream to be a bit over-ambitious. O’Malley’s opinion regarding this wasn’t pretty different. He talked about Paul and Izzy’s discussions on his own YouTube podcast, ‘BrO’Malley Show’. After knowing about Paul’s three-sport championship ambitions, O’Malley also derided Paul’s wish to become a UFC champion, that too, defeating someone like Israel Adesanya.

‘Sugar’s’ words on this issue were, God, would Logan ever beat Izzy in an MMA fight. Probably couldn’t exist in this planet”. Also, a lot of fans know that it’s literally impossible to step inside an MMA cage without thorough training. Despite being trained in boxing, it would understandably take Paul about a quartet or quintet of years to step in the MMA cage with proper skills.

O’Malley opined even if Paul managed to develop them, ‘Izzy’ would still be capable enough to beat him any day. He said, But even then, his[Adesanya’s] skill level, his kickboxing, his range, and his understanding of, I mean, look at Marvin Vettori, how good a wrestler he is”.

A huge chunk of fans might agree with ‘Sugar’ here. Despite wrestling being ‘Izzy’s’ comparatively weak link, the wrestling skills that he showcased against his former rival, Marvin Vettori, were truly commendable.

Sean O’Malley opined Logan Paul can be a dangerous mixed martial artist

Despite deriding Paul for choosing to fight Adesanya, O’Malley revealed his opinion about Paul having some legit combat sports skills. But, he also stated that he would require some grinding before stepping into MMA.

O’Malley stated, “If he took it[MMA] serious for 3, 4, 5 years, that motherf***er would be dangerous”. However, the UFC supremo, Dana White, had already given out his take about refraining from signing already famous names into the UFC. In such a situation, it’s hard to predict whether UFC fans will witness Logan Paul inside the octagon.

Do you think Logan Paul will dawn the 4-ounce gloves and take the UFC octagon someday?
