Dillon Danis, a name that is quickly becoming synonymous with talking trash. Is it even a surprise if you were told that the fighter is the teammate of none other than Conor McGregor? Danis is set to fight YouTuber-turned-boxer Logan Paul on the 14th of October this year. However, things leading up to the fight have been chaotic and tumultuous.

First, Danis launched a barrage of all things horrible against Paul’s soon wife-to-be, Nina Agdal. This resulted in a lawsuit against the fighter and it may just cost him a lot of money. However, Danis refuses to stomp the brakes. The fighter recently appeared on an episode of Flagrant. He decided to let loose another fireball and this time, he made an interesting claim about a soccer superstar.

Dillon Danis had an interesting meeting with Ronaldo

Christiano Ronaldo is famous for his kicks, persona, and money. What he’s not famous for is his interesting way of greeting people. That is if Danis is to be believed. The soccer legend met Danis and his teammate Conor McGregor several years ago. In the recent sit-down for FLAGRANT, with the likes of comedian Andrew Schulz, Danis opened up about their meeting with an interesting anecdote.

“I know  this is a funny story but I went out with Ronaldo once,” started Danis. “And the only thing he does is ti**y twisters. He loves that I know, it’s the weirdest thing. I love Ronaldo he’s the greatest dude . . . it’s like he’s just like a bro. He’s gay like that, like I don’t know so funny”

Ronaldo bumped into Danis when the pair were in Las Vegas. The soccer player was attending Jennifer Lopez’s party at the famous Caesar’s Palace and team McGregor was training in the city. The incident happened back in 2016 and that was probably when the three met. Danis was more than candid about the topic but who knows if he’s telling the truth.

The fighter is slowly becoming infamous for photoshopping images and saying things that may not hold a lot of weight in truth. A lot of fans suspect it’s just a mere play of character to sell the Paul fight. It’s either that or the Irishman’s way is rubbing onto Danis who recently became a father. His manner of expression has already landed him in deep waters so what’s next for him now?

What’s next for Dillon Danis?

Danis managed to not appear for the first court hearing for Agdal’s lawsuit. This put her restraining order plea against him in immediate effect and now the fighter is banned from interacting with the model. He can also not share any imagery or posts about her or mention her name or reference to her in any way if he wants to stay out of trouble.

In the meantime, Agdal is asking for $150,000 in damages. Danis will be Logan Paul’s best man at his wedding with Agdal if the former wins the fight. On the other hand, if Paul emerges victorious, he’ll take Dillon Danis’ entire fight purse and keep it for himself. The fight seems to be nothing short of a spectacle meant for entertainment. Especially in light of the much more anticipated Francis Ngannou vs. Tyson Fury  happening in the  same month.
