The WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury blasted UFC color commentator Joe Rogan after the latter claimed that the former wouldn’t survive in a fight against the UFC heavyweight champion, Jon Jones. ‘Bones’ hit right back at Fury and challenged him to an MMA fight. But ‘The Gypsy King’ issued a challenge of his own in a response video to ‘Bones’.
In a recent episode of his podcast, Joe Rogan claimed that Tyson Fury would have no chance to survive if he and Jon Jones were locked inside a room. The WBC champion did not take too kindly to the 55-year-old’s comments, which prompted Jones to step in and back Rogan in his claim against Fury.

The reigning UFC heavyweight champion hit back at Fury after ‘The Gypsy King’ made some derogatory remarks about Joe Rogan. Jon Jones tweeted that Tyson Fury may be invincible inside the squared circle. But things would be much different if he decided to step inside the Octagon.
Hey Tyson, it seem like Joe may have struck a nerve. I’ll admit there’s no one touching you in that ring right now, but let’s not let that confuse you with what would happen if you stepped foot in my cage. If you ever want to put some of those questions you got going on to rest,…

Jon Jones went the extra mile and suggested to Fury that they should settle the score in an MMA fight if he had any problems with what Joe Rogan had to say. ‘Bones’ even told the WBC heavyweight champion to give the UFC president Dana White a phone call to make that fight happen. However, Tyson Fury was quick to share his response to what Jon Jones had to say about settling the score in a fight.
‘The Gypsy King’ responds to ‘Bones’
Tyson Fury noticed what Jon Jones had to say about him and shared a response on his Instagram handle. He first responded to his MMA challenge and said, “You see, Jon Jones has piped up. Jon, you’re talking about me in a cage. I am not a cage fighter, mate. I am a boxer, the best boxer, actually.”

Fury then issued his own challenge of a boxing match and suggested to Jones that he should contact him directly, without any drama. ‘The Gypsy King’ added, “So if you wanna come into a boxing ring and fight me, be my guest. Let me know. You don’t have to call anybody else. No dramas, nobody. You call me because it’s a boxing fight and I am the boss in this gym, me.”
Tyson Fury had no doubt that Jon Jones is an amazing fighter. But he’s sure that ‘Bones’ can’t get it done in the boxing ring. Fury added, “You’re a great fighter, Jon, but you’re no boxer, that’s for sure. All the best and good luck.”

Tyson Fury seems to have lost interest in a fight against Francis Ngannou and has his eyes set on Jon Jones. However, it is highly unlikely that this match would come to fruition due to ‘Bones’ being contractually obligated to the UFC. However, nothing is stopping them from engaging in a verbal war.
