While speaking to renowned American sports journalist Stephen A. Smith, Paul told why winning this bout was an essential factor in his boxing career. Furthermore, he expressed some inspirational thoughts targeting the young fan base. Smith initiated the conversation as he asked about the accomplishments associated with the triumph.

Considering the doubt, Paul took no time to state his response. He said, “I think Just to gain experience under my belt. You know it has only been three and a half year as a professional fighter and my goal is to become world champion. And the only way I do that is fighting in these big moments fighting longer fights. This fight is 10 rounds which is more than I have done in my previous fights um so get those rounds of experience under my belt. I brought in a new team to switch my technique and implement a new game plan and to prove to myself that I can come back from a loss and get even better. And to show the world and to show the kids out there if you lose anywhere in life you can come back stronger rather than just staying down.’

The words make clear how crucial the impending fight is for Paul. He clarified how failures could be viewed as components of learning rather than a cause for dejection. He went on to explain why he thought winning this fight would improve his experience. Paul seems upbeat despite having lost his prior battle despite the 10-round contest. Amidst so much optimism surrounding his statements, Paul has also made a few more bold statements regarding Diaz in the past.

What were the bold claims from the past?
