Years After Trolling Floyd Mayweather With One-Liner, Conor McGregor Sees His Friend, Dillon Danis, Take a Page Out of His Book for Logan Paul Fight

There is a lot of buzz surrounding the upcoming fight between Dillon Danis and Logan Paul. While the Bellator fighter prepares for his first-ever boxing match, he decided to replicate the same thing that Conor McGregor did. Moreover, he shared a Twitter (X) post, echoing the same words that ‘The Notorious’ said when he was fighting Floyd Mayweather.

Dillon Danis and Logan Paul have developed a lot of animosity in the build-up to their fight on October 14th. ‘The Maverick’s fiancee, Nina Agdal, sued the Bellator fighter after he kept trolling her on social media. Consequently, people started to believe that Danis may pull out yet again from a fight. However, he shut his critics up in Conor McGregor’s fashion.

When Conor McGregor entered the boxing world in 2017, he became one of the few MMA fighters who made a successful mark in the squared circle. Moreover, his rivalry with Floyd Mayweather was an entertaining one where he trolled ‘Money’ by claiming that he was the real boxer and not the 50-0 legend. As such, McGregor’s friend Dillon Danis pulled a similar stunt on social media.

Dillon Danis shared a photo of himself on Twitter (X) and captioned it: “I am boxing.” This was the same line that Conor McGregor said during his rivalry with Floyd Mayweather. Moreover, the BJJ specialist is looking pretty good when it comes to his physique.

‘The Notorious’s friend is in fight shape

With less than two weeks away from his debut inside the squared circle, Dillon Danis gave a glimpse of how he’s been preparing. He looks to be in fight shape and even after hinting that he might pull out; it looks like he’s ready to take on Logan Paul. Fans have seen clips on social media of Danis training with former UFC champion Alex Pereira.

There is no doubt that this fight was not that big of a fight at the beginning. Moreover, Logan Paul is fighting an MMA fighter who’s been inactive for about four years and also did not help the build-up. However, Danis’s social media antics and constant trolling of Paul and his fiancee have helped the fight garner a lot of interest from the masses.

It remains to be seen how the BJJ specialist will perform in a different combat sport after being out of action for a few years.
