Joe Rogan has stayed away from exploring his kicks due to injuries in both of his knees. However, that doesn’t mean that his skills have degraded. In a recent video released on Instagram, the UFC color commentator displayed impressive strikes after recovering from the injury. But little did he know that it would attract a boxing star to come up with an unusual request.

Ryan Garcia went to the comments section of Rogan’s Instagram post and declared that he would take on the UFC color commentator and knock him out. However, there was a way for Rogan to earn Garcia’s mercy. Let’s find out about it.

Recently, Rogan took to Instagram to share his kicks and striking skills. In the video, he can be seen striking a 130-pound bag with great finesse. But he also came up with a confession in the captions: “went without kicking for a whole year to deal with a knee injury and thanks to @ways2well it’s now 100% pain free. The video of me hitting that bag was yesterday, and in the past if I did that the next day my knee would be sore, but today I feel absolutely perfect.” The podcaster revealed that kicking was indeed one of his favorite things and the best way for him to release stress. However, a knee injury prevented him from kicking for almost a year. Rogan went on to thank everyone involved in making his knee better than ever.

But little did the podcaster know that his actions have attracted a star boxer in the comments section. Garcia took to the comments and claimed that he would knock Rogan out. Surprisingly, he promised to show mercy on one condition—that is if he was invited to Rogan’s podcast, the JRE. “I would Ko you so quick But nice kicks fam I’ll have mercy if you let me on the show,” wrote Garcia.

Although Rogan was a big supporter of ‘KingRy’ and his boxing, he has yet to respond to Garcia’s callout. Would the boxer receive an invitation to the JRE set, or would get to face Rogan in an arena? It is something that only time can tell. But are you wondering about Rogan’s injury? Let’s dive right into that.

The JRE host’s bad knee surgeries

In episode #2100 of the ‘Joe Rogan Experience’, the podcaster revealed that he had issues with his knees. No matter how strong of a man he was, even Rogan wasn’t immune to the damages of age. He revealed that he had surgeries on both of his knees. He had a patellar tendon graft on his left knee and a cadaver ACL graft on his right knee.

During the conversation with his guests, Cameron Hanes and Steven Rinella, the 56-year-old podcaster revealed that he was indeed a fan of the cadaver ACL graft procedure, for it is easier to proceed with. The process utilized the ACL of a deceased donor, which was then grafted to replace Rogan’s torn ACL. Without a doubt, the JRE host became a fan of the procedure.

Nevertheless, the UFC commentator has now completely recovered and was in full swing of kicks. But would he accept Garcia’s callout? Or would he invite him to JRE? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
