And his fight analysis and predictions are also worth listening to. And, as a Hollywood action star, he instructed street fighting and UFC legend Kimbo Slice on how to improve his fight skills.
As a long-time fan of combat sports, the New Yorker gives his takes on the sport. And in a recent interview with VladTV, the 55-year-old explained who he thinks was boxing maestro Floyd Mayweather‘s toughest opponent.

During the interview, the host and White started talking about Floyd Mayweather’s exceptional boxing career. They discussed how dominant Mayweather really was, having not even suffered a knockdown during his professional career, boxer Zab Judah coming the closest to putting the undefeated fighter on the floor. Then White told Vlad who he thought Mayweather’s toughest opponent was.
“I would say the worst would be, um, Shane [Mosley]. Yeah, Shane stung him, okay. Pretty bad. That was the worst I’ve seen Floyd. But even with that he didn’t come out of it a bloody mess. No, he turned around and beat the hell out of Shane,” the action star told the host.
The New Yorker opined that ‘Sugar’ Shane Mosley was the opponent who gave ‘Money’ the most problems and managed to stun him during their welterweight super-fight in 2010. Even then, White pointed out, Mayweather beat the Californian in a unanimous decision and took little damage during the bout.

Shane Mosley predicts Floyd Mayweather vs. Terence Crawford fantasy bout
In a recent interview with The Art of Dialogue, Mosley talked about who would win in a hypothetical matchup between Mayweather and current boxing pound-for-pound king Terence Crawford. He listed the various advantages in size and strength that Crawford has over ‘Money’ and said that ‘Bud’ “don’t care about the Philly defense style, whatever style, he don’t care about that, he’s just trying to get you”.

He also differentiated between ‘Money’ Mayweather and ‘Pretty Boy’ Mayweather, pointing out that the latter was a younger, hungrier Mayweather who would stand a much better chance against Crawford. However, ultimately he picked Crawford to win over Mayweather, owing to his superior size and strength and the awkward angles he could throw punches.
