The UFC has given fight fans some legendary fighters who, to this day, have the ability to step into the ring and have a go like nothing has changed. Former UFC fighter and the first UFC heavyweight champ ever, Mark Coleman, is all set to return to combat sports. Having made his name in the world of MMA, the UFC legend is now preparing to fight a former boxing champion in a boxing bout.

The news that a legend like Mark Coleman is returning to the fight game had fans excited, and concerned. Coleman is pushing 60 (currently 58 years old) and is no longer the dominant MMA fighter that he used to be. But, no matter his age, the fire burns inside Coleman, who recently took to Instagram to share the story of his ‘suffering’ as he is seen putting in work ahead of his boxing bout.

Mike Tyson ignored Mark Coleman’s ask for help for boxing debut?

In October, Mark Coleman will fight boxing legend Montell Griffin. This will be the first time that Coleman steps into a boxing ring – at least in a professional capacity. Griffing is a former champ of the sport and definitely has an edge in this one. However, to even those odds, Coleman had openly asked another boxing legend for help – Mike Tyson.

However, there was no reply from Tyson to Coleman’s ask for help. This could be because of one of two reasons: one, that Tyson is busy with his own podcast episodes. The other possibility is that Tyson already has his hands full with former UFC HW champ Francis Ngannou, who he is training to fight current WBC champ Tyson Fury.

Either way, it seems Tyson will not be in Coleman’s corner this time. However, from the look of things, Coleman seems to be doing pretty well himself.
