Conor McGregor on social media seems to be a gift that keeps on giving. The Irishman never misses a moment to make fun of the people with whom he’s clashed previously or intends to do so. His most recent dig was in the form of a hilarious tweet directed at YouTube star Jake Paul. The Irishman didn’t mention him specifically, but his observation about the 25-year-old gave it away.

Jake Paul was unified featherweight champ Amanda Serrano’s promoter during her fight with Katie Taylor at Madison Square Garden. During his appearance, he showed up wearing a pair of glasses that McGregor seemed to pick on.
The Irishman took to Twitter to ask, “Who the f*** is this jackas* in the pink Jimmy Saville glasses?” clearly hinting at the YouTube boxing star.
Who the fuck is this jackass in the pink Jimmy saville glasses ?

This came as a clap back from Conor McGregor’s side after Jake Paul took a shot at him a day prior. As we all know, the UFC superstar does not take prisoners and just did it once more.
A day prior to the fight, Paul stated, “Look, I don’t have anything to say about that what I do have to say for the Irish is I feel bad for y’all because this is the start of Katie Taylor’s losing streak just like Conor McGregor. This is the start of her losing streak, just like Conor McGregor.”

This roast seems to have struck a chord in McGregor, who hasn’t usually responded to Paul’s jibes. Perhaps the Irish pride and Taylor’s name being involved in this made the Irishman want to step in.
Will the Jake Paul – Conor McGregor fight ever happen?
Although UFC president Dana White dismissed the idea of that fight on the Impaulsive podcast, Conor McGregor did previously state, “Never say never.” It seems as though, despite all his dislike for the American YouTube star, McGregor might actually be seeing some potential in a possible matchup.

Looking at his hesitance to fight Paul, yet being open to the idea down the line seems like an issue of placement for McGregor. The fight may seem too premature in the eyes of the Irishman.
