Yet, as the contest approached its zenith, Danis mounted a last-gasp endeavor, employing a guillotine choke against Paul, only to be stopped and suffer an onslaught of blows from the ‘Maverick.’ The climax of the match was tainted by a turbulent spectacle, that even necessitated the intervention of security personnel.

Danis’s humiliating defeat may well have eroded much of the credibility he had painstakingly built over the past months. However, despite all of this, Conor McGregor stood firm in his support for Danis. And Danis in his recent social media post, took to X (formerly Twitter) to appreciate McGregor.

He shared a photo of them together and captioned it as ” Just an appreciation post for my brother. I have learned so much from him in my life and he always has had my back through everything. He is the greatest fighter of our generation and I’m blessed to call him my brother. I could go on for paragraphs about what this man has done for me but just wanted to say, love you, my G. Got your back till the end.”

Conor McGregor and Dillon Danis, have been entangled in collaboration since the year 2016, an association that has matured over the expanse of five years.
