Despite Danis’s defeat, it appears that their feud is far from over. Both Danis and Paul exchanged insults with each other after their match on X (formerly Twitter). While Danis may have lost credibility following the match, Conor McGregor still stood strong beside his teammate and now Danis has uploaded a story thanking the former champion.

Dillon Danis suffered a humiliating defeat by the hand of Logan Paul at the Misfits boxing event in Manchester. ‘El Jefe’ was not expected to show up to the event due to his history of pulling out of the fights. However, he did show up and it didn’t end well for the BJJ practitioner.

In each round, Logan Paul undeniably showcased his supremacy over Danis. Yet, as the contest approached its zenith, Danis mounted a last-gasp endeavor, employing a guillotine choke against Paul, only to be stopped and suffer an onslaught of blows from the ‘Maverick.’ The climax of the match was tainted by a turbulent spectacle, that even necessitated the intervention of security personnel.

Danis’s humiliating defeat may well have eroded much of the credibility he had painstakingly built over the past months. However, despite all of this, Conor McGregor stood firm in his support for Danis. And Danis in his recent social media post, took to X (formerly Twitter) to appreciate McGregor.

He shared a photo of them together and captioned it as ” Just an appreciation post for my brother. I have learned so much from him in my life and he always has had my back through everything. He is the greatest fighter of our generation and I’m blessed to call him my brother. I could go on for paragraphs about what this man has done for me but just wanted to say, love you, my G. Got your back till the end.”

Conor McGregor and Dillon Danis, have been entangled in collaboration since the year 2016, an association that has matured over the expanse of five years.

Danis openly confessed that he envisions McGregor as an elder sibling, fostering a friendship transcending the ordinary bounds of mentorship. “He’s (Conor McGregor) a big brother to me. It’s like getting to watch Muhammad Ali every day.”

Within the crucible of life’s challenges, these two combatants’ profound friendship has weathered legal woes, physical injuries, and agonizing losses. Danis stood by McGregor during the fateful clash with Khabib Nurmagomedov in 2018, marred by a post-fight fracas. He also played a pivotal role in McGregor’s preparations for the 2021 Dustin Poirier trilogy, applauding his unwavering resolve post a shattering leg injury.
