Did Joe Rogan really say that? Joe Rogan and his $200-million-worth Spotify podcast have a knack for turning heads. From hordes of Russians fighting in football fields to the role of lead paint in contributing to the decreasing American IQ in the 1970s – there’s hardly any stone that the JRE host has left unturned.

Now, giving his take on the much-hyped Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou clash, Rogan has made some intriguing suggestions to Dana White and Co. What’s more – the JRE host seems to be dissenting from Dana White’s reluctance to make the Ngannou vs. Jones fight. So, what’s his advice to the UFC head honcho?

Joe Rogan hosted JRE’s most recent Fight Companion to watch UFC 293. He was joined by stand-up comics Bryan Callen, Brendan Schaub, and Sam Tripoli. During this amusing JRE episode, the BJJ black belt and his guests gave their two cents on the tantalizing UFC 293 fights.
However, amid all the back-and-forth between the comedians, Rogan brought up an intriguing idea about the aftermath of the upcoming Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou clash.

The Heavyweights are going to duke it out under Boxing rules on Oct. 28th, in Riyadh. Rogan’s vision revolves around Ngannou, the fearsome heavyweight knockout artist. In a surprising twist, he expressed his hope that after the Fury clash, “shenanigans” would ensue. The 56-year-old UFC commentator added, “My hope is that Francis fights Tyson Fury, gets the big money – and then there’s some shenanigans!”

While doing so the 56-year-old also couldn’t help but talk about the surprising title in store for the multi-million dollar boxing bout between the two heavyweights. “I dont know what the belt is, but they’ve created a belt. Riyadh championship belt. So the Saudi Arabian championship belt. Good for them.” claimed Rogan, an avid boxing fan. This fight term also gives the former UFC champ a rare chance at grabbing a boxing title right under the nose of a dominant boxing champ.

Also, the massive amount of money being splurged on the fight left Rogan, who himself has been a part of multiple record-breaking PPVs, amused or one could say even shocked at the ongoing rumors. “Hey bro – What they are doing over there is wild. They are throwing wild amounts of money” claimed the veteran UFC commentator.

As per multiple reports, Ngannou would be receiving more than $10 million for this boxing super fight. Naturally, a whopping amount like this would leave any man with their jaws dropped and Joe Rogan certainly is no exception. But it was Rogan’s next statement that truly caught everyone’s attention.

Rogan has an amusing fantasy for UFC 300

Making a very contrasting statement to his pal Dana White’s beliefs about Jon Jones vs. Ngannou matchup, the UFC commentator made a rather surprising suggestion to the UFC. He remarked, “They[UFC] bring him back – they offer him big money to fight Jon Jones after Jon Jones beats Stipe[Miocic]. UFC 300 – Jon Jones – Francis Ngannou – let’s go!”

While the Fury vs. Ngannou fight in itself left Rogan quite intrigued over the rumored affairs surrounding it, the podcaster also had a certain idea in mind for the former UFC champ. Rogan, unlike his long-time friend and UFC president Dana White, felt that a return for ‘The Predator’ to MMA for the much-awaited UFC 300 event was something that made a lot of sense.

The multi-millionaire podcaster believes that a return for Ngannou against none other than current heavyweight champ Jon Jones would be a smart move for the UFC, considering the colossal attention the Tyson Fury bout is likely to receive. He argued, “The UFC would be smart to do that too. Because the Tyson Fury fight is going to be gigantic.”

The rivalry between Jones and Ngannou which started back when ‘the predator’ was still signed to the UFC, unfortunately never came to fruition and fans are also well aware of the turn of events that led to Ngannou leaving UFC for rival promotion PFL.
