With McGregor's support, is Mike Perry set to dominate both the octagon and the music charts?

As Mike Perry made his walkout for the Jake Paul fight to Bones Thugs N-Harmony’s 1994 cult-hit single, ‘Thuggish Ruggish Bone’, no one was happier than Conor McGregor. The bombastic Irishman did not waste any time telling everyone that he is in fact the owner of the newly founded record label, Greenback Records which has signed the American hip-hop group on its roster.

The former two-division champion, of course, also has minority ownership stakes in the BKFC, where Mike Perry is a star. However, he seemed delighted at the fact that ‘Platinum’ had chosen one of his artists to walk out to, sending about three tweets on the subject. McGregor had announced the founding of the record label just two days ago, and it seems it already has its first big name in the legendary hip-hop group.

“What a song! BONE THUGS N HARMONY FOR GREENBACK RECORDS RIGHT NOW LIVE FOR THE MAINT EVENT WALKOUT OF OUR BAREKNUCKLER!” McGregor tweeted.

Alas, the fight went disastrously for Mike Perry, as Jake Paul managed to stop the former UFC fighter without much trouble, showing just how much he has evolved as a fighter with his spectacular performance.

Have an interesting take?

Jake Paul thoroughly outclassed Mike Perry in their just concluded boxing match, knocking out the BKFC superstar in the sixth round. There were indications that the fight was going to be a long night for Perry from the get-go as Paul managed to drop ‘Platinum’ in the very first round (and indeed also in the second round).

While Perry showed every bit of his legendary toughness and durability, for the next five rounds, Paul’s technical prowess and power seemed too much for him. Despite having some good moments, he took too much damage, ultimately succumbing to ‘The Problem Child’ in the sixth round.

After the loss, Perry would claim that he had been feeling unwell leading up to the fight and was having problems with his hands. Paul, on the other hand, called out UFC champion and superstar Alex Pereira after the fight, and even said that he would be open to bare-knuckle boxing in the future.

Amanda Serrano, in the co-main event, made even shorter work of Stevie Morgan, as expected, knocking out the latter in the second round, and proclaiming that she was looking forward to her much-awaited rematch with Katie Taylor on November 15.
