The wait of six years is close to ending. It was 2017 when Conor McGregor made his boxing debut against Floyd Mayweather. The fight went down as one of the richest fights in the sport’s history. Since then, there have been rumors of a rematch, but nothing concrete. It appears the Irishman is ready to enter the square circle, but this time against the internet celebrity, KSI.

The Irish fighter called out the social media influencer when he appeared in the audience at the latest DAZN event. The headliner featuring Anthony Joshua vs. Robert Helenius in London was an amusing fight and attracted the likes of KSI and ‘The Notorious’. During one interaction on camera, he was asked, “Are we gonna see you in another boxing match as well? The second richest fight in history when you fought Floyd Mayweather?”

In response, McGregor listed one name that he might exchange blows with. The 35-year-old fighter announced, “Yeah, that man KSI over there. He couldn’t box it. He couldn’t box eggs, if he walked in a f*cking egg boxing factory.”

The ‘Mystic Mac’ maintained the same tone when he entered the ring after the festivities of the night had ended. In the ring, he reiterated his desire to fight KSI. He said, “I know your man KSI is in crowd, yeah. He couldn’t box eggs, if he walked in an egg boxing factory. If he walks in here, I’ll give a fight, bare-knuckle, if you want”.

However, it appears KSI has to wait in line, as he has other plans in motion. Notably, Anthony Joshua stopped Robert Helenius in the seventh round at London’s O2 Arena and collected a splendid win. But it was the Irish fighter who stole the show with his loud personality.
