Is the undefeated Mayweather protégé the next big thing in boxing, or just another hype train?

Gervonta Davis, after bidding adieu to Mayweather Promotions, has taken shots at Floyd Mayweather on many occasions. His beef with the 50-0 legend runs so deep that the three-weight boxing champion removed ‘Money’ protege, Curmel Moton, from his upcoming fight card against Frank Martin. However, the protege seems to have found a spot on another card for his 4th professional bout.

Curmel Moton, born in Salt Lake City, Utah, and fighting out of Las Vegas, Nevada, had an astonishing 61 wins and 3 losses in his amateur career. And that successfully translated into his professional career as the 18-year-old is yet to taste defeat as he rides high with momentum with a 3-0 undefeated streak. Now, it seems like he’s found himself a spot in a big event after getting snubbed by Gervonta Davis.
