Francis Ngannou and Anthony Joshua will face each other in the same location where the former UFC heavyweight champion made his debut against Tyson Fury. Much like his maiden outing, this fight is also expected to make the Cameroonian a hefty multi-million dollar paycheck.

Per his agent’s confirmation to Sports Business Journal, Ngannou will be making 8-figures from the bout. This is in line with his previous fight, where he made at least $10 million, as revealed by Tyson Fury during a press conference before the event.

Ngannou shocked everyone by dropping the champion with a big right hand on the canvas. While many felt that ‘ The Predator’ won the battle, the judges scored the fight differently. However, Ngannou now looks all focused on his second professional fight against the former champion.

During the press conference, the challenger was asked about his comments regarding testing Anthony Joshua’s chin. Ngannou replied: “Well I am going to fight him so what do you think I’m going to do? Is to find look for his chin. I mean, that’s what happened in the fight. In case you in the fight you’re trying to hit somebody in the chin or wherever you can hit him right? And then, uh, yes, I heard that he doesn’t have a chin. I don’t know if it’s true or not. We are going to find out. I hope I have an opportunity to test that out. That’s my wish.”

Anthony Joshua is back to form before his clash against Ngannou

Anthony Joshua’s boxing career looked completely out of sorts after he lost two back-to-back fights against Oleksandr Usyk. However, the 34-year-old turned his fortune around in 2023 and now looks a completely different fighter. 2021 and 2022 saw Joshua losing his title and his rematch to Usyk. However, in 2023, ‘AJ’ won his fights against Jermaine Franklin, Robert Helenius, and Otto Wallin, thus ending the year on a high.
