Sean O’Malley and Conor McGregor had a harsh fallout, and they became supporters to enemies real quickly. Why is that? This is because the Irishman made some harsh comments about Suga while slamming Ryan Garcia over his positive drug test report. The bantamweight champion was quick to offer a reply to the former double champion while also discussing his desire to set the score inside the octagon if he got the chance. Meanwhile, McGregor is returning to the cage in UFC 303 against Michael Chandler and if he wins the fight, he might go against Suga, as he has two fights remaining in his contract.
The beef between the two UFC stars is not hidden from anyone and Daniel Cormier and Ben Askren are latest to comment on the same. The veterans feel that ‘The Notorious’ might be jealous of O Malley.

During the latest episode of ‘Funky and the Champ’, DC and Askren spoke about the beef between Suga and The Notorious on social media. DC called out McGregor after the champ deleted his tweets about O’Malley while Askren gave his idea of a possible O’Malley and McGregor fight as well. Meanwhile, Cormier also questioned whether McGregor was jealous of the young fighter coming up in his footsteps. He said, “Is that why Conor is doing it though, because he can see that this young man (Sean O Malley) is following in his footsteps and he is becoming such a great star?”
Elaborating further, the 45-year-old added, “Because they say that imitation is the greatest compliment you could receive, but when you are the biggest star, you see somebody coming up behind you; you might go, ‘I don’t like this guy.’” A few days back, while reflecting on Ryan Garcia’s positive test report, McGregor also targeted Sean O’Malley, as he had tested positive for the same substance in 2018. On his X account, the legend issues a challenge by writing, “I’ll bust yous both up, do yous want a spar? I will set flights right now for you both for a full-on spar each … Two little Ostarine heads.”
Meanwhile, even if the jealousy theory is true, Suga has no qualms about taking on McGregor, who is of a higher weight than him. He revealed his wish in a podcast as well.

Sean O’Malley disclosed his desire to fight Conor McGregor
O’Malley is pretty ambitious and does not stay silent in the face of any challenge. The 29-year-old recently spoke about his desire to fight his idol/rival. Speaking on his podcast, Suga said, “Conor is one of the only guys that I would fight. That motherf***er’s big. I’d fight him at 55′.” Even though the Montana native does not like changing weight classes too much, he would make an exception for ‘The Notorious.’

He gave two reasons for this. Firstly, it was the chance to make more money since he would be fighting a legend. The second reason is that Suga considers McGregor to be a legend and wants to fight him. ‘Suga’ even spoke about how McGregor called him out and said, “I do think there was a lot of jealousy. People like that, that big of an ego, he sees what’s happening. He sees [that] he’s starting to get pushed out [and] I’m starting to come up…”
