After months of back and forth and two canceled bouts, Jake Paul and Tommy Fury will finally meet in the squared circle. The event is scheduled to go down on February 25 in Saudi Arabia. Paul made the fight with Fury official and the pair had a face-off in London during the Artur Beterbiev vs. Anthony Yarde event. Tommy Fury pulled out of the fight on two previous occasions. Once because of an injury and the second time due to visa issues. Now, the 23-year-old can finally settle his business with Paul with the blessings of his family. Many fans and pros have given their predictions for the fight since the announcement. Among them was UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping.

During a recent Q and A session on his YouTube channel, ‘The Count’ weighed in on the upcoming fight between Paul and Fury. He gave his prediction and backed up his choice with solid reasons.

Giving his prediction for the fight, the 43-year-old said, “I think Jake Paul beats him. Pretty soundly to be honest.” He continued, “Jake’s pretty good, you know? Had a good fight with Anderson, knocked out Tyron Woodley, you know?”

As for Tommy Fury, he said, “I thought he was good, but then I saw him against Anthony “Pretty Boy” Taylor and I didn’t think he looked all that.”

Jake Paul has received a lot of flak for his choice of opponents. MMA legends like Anderson Silva, Tyron Woodley, and Ben Askren were all past their primes when Paul beat them. Furthermore, they were not pure boxers, either. In contrast, Tommy Fury is a far cry from them.

Bisping said, “I’m actually intrigued to watch it, believe it or not.” He highlighted how Fury is a young boxer who is the same size as Paul. He added they were the type of fighters who should be fighting each other.

As the date and location have been set for the fight, all that is needed is for the fighters to show up. Do you think the third time is the charm for Paul vs. Fury? And do you agree with Bisping’s takes?
