Tyson Fury Gets Flamed as Self-Proclaimed 6’9″ Boxer Gets Outsized by Alex Pereira in Resurfaced Clip

The lineal heavyweight boxing champion of the world, Tyson Fury, is known for having a massive frame even for a heavyweight. His frame is something that he markets with pride. However, people seem to have been questioning the legitimacy of his claims in recent times thanks to a UFC star.

The heavyweight boxing champ was seen with the UFC light-heavyweight contender, Alex Pereira a few months back. In the clip, the ‘Gypsy King’ seemed like the smaller man when standing next to ‘Poatan’. Pereira is by no means a small human, however, his registered height is shorter than Fury’s. So here’s what the fans had to say about the clip.

Tyson Fury is, without a doubt, a giant. But after a recent clip of him standing next to ‘Poatan’, fans are starting to speculate that his official height has been padded. Tyson Fury has always towered over his opponents inside the ring so, it was uncanny to see him the same height, or even shorter while standing next to Pereira.

Fans took no time to point out the abnormality in their heights. And also after Fury’s controversial win against Francis Ngannou, fans have not been taking kindly to the boxing giant. Though not all, most fans took to comments like hungry lions hunting an injured gazelle… or maybe, in this case, an injured elephant.

Even Tyson Fury was shocked to see how big the Brazillian was. He stated, “I thought these guys were smaller, they’re f*****g massive”. It’s safe to say that it wasn’t just us fans who were startled by the Brazillian’s height. But, were there any other factors that came into play for the height difference?

Is the Gypsy King actually 6’9″?

‘The Gypsy King height conspiracy’ has given some fans something to debate about. However, the fans aren’t asking a certain question. What if Pereira isn’t 6’4? because the Brazilian did tower over all of his opponents in the UFC till now. Or maybe there’s a less conspicuous answer to this.

Some of the fans speculated that the Brazilian might have been wearing a sort of shoe that increased his height a little. While some point to the angle at which the video was taken. The only thing clear as of now is that in the picture, Fury was taller by just an inch or two.
