Former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva and light-heavyweight kingpin Tito Ortiz are set to square off inside the boxing ring on September 11. Fans of combat sports are buzzed for the event as they are full of anticipation of what is to expect as the duo steps inside the boxing ring.
Ahead of the fight, Ortiz revealed he is in great shape and is walking around at the lightest weight he has ever done ahead of a fight. “The thing that I am really really happy about is my weight’s low. My weight is where I want to be. This is the lightest I’ve ever been,” said Ortiz.

“I can’t even remember the last time I was this light. Maybe, 10 years ago,” he added. “I am walking around now at 215. Which is really light for me. Especially a week out of a fight. But I mean I put in the work, I’ve done everything I wanted to do. I mean in a 4 weeks span I think the muscle memory has been a huge success for me through my life,” he said further.

“Eating healthy, staying healthy, eating clean, taking care of my body because the muscle memory has bounced back faster than I thought it ever would. My timing’s good. I am not gonna say great but it’s good. I am ready to fight,” the former UFC champion concluded.
