Francis Ngannou is about to be $10 million richer. But if Joe Rogan is to be believed, there’s more money in a separate move. ‘The Predator’ joined Rogan in a fresh new episode of The Joe Rogan Experience and the two discussed Ngannou’s past and his future. The Tyson Fury fight was bound to come up in the conversation and so it did.
Ngannou spoke at length about his wishes with the UFC still. The two then discussed how his contract with PFL made him so much richer. It also enabled him a lot more than his contract at the UFC. Here’s Rogan’s idea of how Ngannou can secure a bigger purse after the fight.

Joe Rogan is a brilliant analyst with years of experience behind him. He knows the hype is real when he sees it and the Fury vs. Ngannou fight is as hyped as it could be. The two were speaking about the money the French-Cameroonian would make when Rogan suggested this:
“Imagine, hypothetically, I go out there, knock Tyson Fury out,” started Ngannou. “What do you think will happen for me?” The questions carry a great weight. Ngannou is a champion who left the UFC and one of the most fearsome fighters the promotion ever had. Knocking out one of the greatest contemporary boxers after shifting his fighting style and promotion would mean tremendous things for the fighter.
“If you knock Tyson Fury out, you’re the biggest combat sports star in the world,” answered Rogan. ” . . . well if you knock Tyson Fury out, the real money is in a rematch.”
The idea of banking on the fight works well if he wins the match or if he loses closely. Winning would set Fury on a path of vengeance and losing closely would push the viewers towards speculating a different possible outcome. Of course, as long as Fury agrees to a rematch, it would certainly mean lots of cash for Ngannou one way or another.

Francis Ngannou’s potential fight purse
Even before Tyson Fury accidentally leaked the fight purse, many analysts and insiders believed that PFL was paying Ngannou a lot. Now, the ex-UFC star allegedly stands to make $10 million from the Fury fight before making his PFL debut. Ngannou hasn’t come out and said it officially but he has admitted to being paid well. He appreciates some conditions of the contract much more than the actual money.
“It’s gonna be the first time that my family is going to attend to my fight and I don’t even have to think about that,” said Ngannou. “They’re going to take care.”
