Jake Paul is currently one of the most talked-about personalities in combat sports. Ever since the Paul brothers made their professional boxing debuts, people have been constantly talking about them. With each passing fight, the popularity of Jake and Logan Paul seems to be increasing. Now, as Jake Paul faced and defeated Tyron Woodley, UFC legend Anderson Silva talked about the fight and the Paul brothers.
Silva is an MMA legend and is also a highly capable boxer. Therefore, the fighter has a plethora of combat sports experience and explained what he thinks about the Paul brothers’ fights. ‘The Spider’ echoed the sentiment shared by many combat sports purists, as he called the Paul brothers’ fights more entertainment affairs rather than serious fights.
During a recent interview with Submission Radio, Silva talked about the fight between Jake Paul and Woodley.

He said, “The guys made a good job; you know Tyron Woodley made a good job; I think Paul doing the hard job and working hard. Let me tell you something important.”
“The Paul brothers make the new opportunity for people to think about the entertaining, it’s not about proof nothing to anybody. It’s just two big names inside the ring and doing the big show. “

“Of course, you know you have the talks show. Logan talks a lot. Your brother talks a lot. But this is entertaining.”
“By the way, it’s an entertaining game that is not boxing at the same level as the professional amazing and great boxers doing. There’s no title belt nothing, it’s purely for entertainment, that’s it. That’s a different sport, that’s a different level, it’s boxing but it’s a different level. It’s different, it’s completely different. The people need to understand that.”
What next for Anderson Silva?
Silva is an MMA legend and last competed in a UFC fight back in October 2020. The fighter faced Uriah Hall at the UFC Vegas 12 event and lost via a 4th round TKO. Ever since then, the MMA legend has shifted his attention to boxing and competed against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr on June 19, 2021.

This was Silva’s 3rd professional boxing fight. He won that via split decision. Now ‘The Spider’ is all set to face Tito Ortiz on September 11, 2021. Silva is currently 46 years old and is nearing the end of his combat sports career. Therefore, the fighter would look to win the next fight and continue his winning momentum.
