Jake Paul and Nate Diaz are more than a month away from their scheduled boxing bout. Nevertheless, the drama surrounding the highly anticipated match keeps incoming. From Diaz’s carefree attitude at the press conference to his running the risk of marijuana testing by the Texas AC, this one has kept the fans entertained so far. Now, Jake Paul has made another announcement that has got some of the fans scratching their heads.
In a recent tweet, ‘The Problem Child’ agreed to a major change in their proposed bout, citing that Diaz wanted it. While Paul is stating he’s ready to face Diaz on the MMA star’s terms, fans are advising the 26-year-old against it.
The YouTuber-boxer recently stated, “Nate Diaz wants 10 rounds. I guess he has good cardio. Ok Nathan, 10 rounds it is.” The initial agreement for the bout was for eight rounds but Diaz, being the cardio machine that he is, had mentioned 10 rounds occasionally.

Now that Paul is ready to push his boundaries, fans are skeptical about his prospects in a longer fight. Diaz has always been infamous for his endurance. His cardiovascular capacity has allowed him to find success deeper into fights against opponents like Conor McGregor.
Therefore, many fans believe that Paul will be at a disadvantage the longer the fight lasts. They raised their concerns in the responses under the tweet.
Fans react to Jake Paul agreeing to Nate Diaz’s demand
One fan had no vested interest in the fight. He did not want to see Paul fight Diaz and then claim to be a professional boxer.
It's not real boxing, It's entertainment. Do we really want to see an old MMA guy fight a YouTuber and have him claim he's a professional boxer?? Nooo👀

Another one had an odd comparison for the modified stipulation absurd.
That's like trying to fit a giraffe in a mini cooper, but hey, good luck to Nate! $TOM

One fan appreciated the energy from both fighters despite his belief that the fight will not go the distance.
This is NOT going 10 rounds… but I do like this from you guys

Another fan fired a shot with a joke.
Jake you did miswriting. Do you meant 10 seconds?

Meanwhile. one fan believes Paul made a huge mistake, playing to Diaz’s advantage.
Big mistake, he won’t drop and he has monster cardio

Another one felt it was pointless for one specific reason. Diaz is infamous for his scar tissue and has faced doctor stoppages in his fights before. This fan expects the same in this fight also.
Fight is gonna be stopped in 3 rounds cuz of Nate bleeding too much. 10 rounds is pointless lmao

One fan warned Paul against underestimating Diaz’s power as Conor McGregor did. McGregor lost their first round via second-round submission. In the rematch, Diaz gave him a run for his money despite suffering a split decision loss.
