His incredible speed, athleticism, explosiveness, and fight IQ had to be seen to be believed. Many consider a prime Jones to be one of the best pound-for-pound boxers in the history of the sport.

Rogan began by addressing the criticism that Jones had not faced anyone of note in his career. He felt that Jones was so good that he made the other fighters, who were already champions, look like they weren’t skilled enough.

“You were on fire. It’s sort of the same thing that Roy Jones Jr. faced. Like everybody’s like Roy hasn’t beaten anybody. Like yes, he has. It’s just he’s so much better than everybody else that he was making everybody else look like they weren’t any good. But those were world championship caliber fighters and Roy was just lighting them up,” Rogan told ‘Bud’.

He felt Crawford was in a similar situation to Jones and was not given his proper due because of the utter domination that he displays in the ring against other fighters.
