Jake Paul is scheduled to fight one of the most feared boxers of the past generation, Mike Tyson. Despite seeming like it would be a death sentence for the problem child if he was fighting the 1990’s ‘Iron Mike’, it is a different story now given that Mike Tyson is now 57 years old and has been seen using a cane to walk.

Most fans are confused as to why the fight was even made in the first place, considering the age difference between the two. However, this UFC insider claims that Jake Paul isn’t the first Paul brother who has been offered a fight against the 50-6 boxing legend.

With talks about Jake Paul taking on the legendary Mike Tyson forcing its way into everyone’s social media feeds, a lot of people are forgetting that the older Paul brother was in talks to fight the retired boxer with 44 KOs in his record. Most, except the former UFC fighter, Chael Sonnen.

During a recent YouTube video, Sonnen recalled the time “Maverick” talked about possibly fighting ‘Iron Mike.’ He said, “Oh, somewhere Logan Paul weighed in on this I’m just giving you guys an update from the last week somewhere Logan Paul weighed in on this. And Logan Paul said that he personally was offered that fight. I remember when those rumors were at least out there. I didn’t know there was an actual offer at some point. But I do remember when their names were connected, that conversation existed”

Logan Paul, back then claimed that he would beat Tyson in this day and age given that he has an edge with his youth. While most people are questioning why the fight is even being made, a UFC fighter has offered an explanation for the same.
