Nickal, who came into the spotlight for a post with former President of the United States Donald Trump, has surely been under intense scrutiny. However, he received a bummer from the former UFC fighter, Demetrious Johnson while he was compared with the UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya.
Johnson was discussing a potential scenario with Henry Cejudo, the former UFC flyweight and bantamweight champion, in a YouTube interview. Johnson did, however, originally highlight Israel Adesanya’s takedown skills. But, the parallel got discussed since Cejudo inserted Bo Nickal into the scene on cue.

Johnson made the comparison clear by saying, “See Here is the thing, I like Bo Nickal. The biggest thing about Bo Nickal is that you have a wrestler who hasn’t developed very good kickboxing. What I meant by kickboxing is that his rhythm on his feet. Israel Adesanya, all he has to do is have good takedown defense, mix up the kickboxing, and keep Bo Nickal guessing.”
It’s not new if any comparison surrounds a star like Bo Nickal or Adesanya. Their skills have made them the yardsticks of those disciplines in the eye of many. However, his relatively young career in the UFC and MMA in general still leaves a lot to be desired.
