‘The Bronze Bomber’ recently suffered a defeat against Joseph Parker at the ‘Day of Reckoning’ pay-per-view. Eric Nicksick believes that this loss might have taken a bit of the shine away from a potential fight between Deontay Wilder and Francis Ngannou. He said, “It [Wilder’s loss to Parker] does take a little bit of the luster out of the off of Ngannou-Wilder fight, in my opinion.”
The fact that Francis Ngannou showcased great boxing skills against Tyson Fury, fans are already excited to see him box again. However, Deontay Wilder’s loss to Joseph Parker could prove to be a factor for fans not viewing the fight as a big deal. “Had he won that fight, I think it definitely puts us in a better situation for a selling point,” Eric Nicksick added.
Besides the possibility of a fight between Wilder and Ngannou, ‘The Predator’s coach named another heavyweight whom he believes could be the ideal opponent for the former UFC heavyweight champion.
