UFC star Nate Diaz is interested in boxing Jake Paul. He recently tweeted a video of ‘The Problem Child’ knocking out Tyron Woodley and asked the UFC to either release him or give him a fight. Paul and Dana White both reacted to Diaz’s tweet.

Dana White said, “Contractually, we’ve got to get him a fight. We’ll give him a fight.”

“I like Nate. Let’s be honest. Nate’s won one fight in the last five or six years. … when these guys get into these positions, you got guys that have been with us for a long time, that we respect, that we care about … you got the Cerrones and Anthony Pettis before he left and you got… Nate Diaz.”

“And Nick Diaz is still under contract with us. So you want to be fair to everybody. …he probably should go on and fight Jake Paul. That’s a fight that makes sense.”

Boxer, Jake Paul, too, reacted to Diaz’s tweet and addressed White. He wrote, “Dana – I’m happy to be Nate’s last fight in UFC. You know the terms: pay fighters more and give them healthcare.”

“Sweetener: I will fight for free.”

Post all of this, Nate Diaz once again tweeted, “Send the release.”

While Diaz seems interested in facing Paul, he is still under contract with the UFC. Hence, it would be interesting to see if the promotion gives him a fight soon or releases him.
