Ever since Conor McGregor suffered an injury, people have been waiting for his return. However, there is no update from either the fighter or the UFC on when fans will see ‘Mystic Mac’ in the octagon. While ‘The Notorious’ continues to work towards his return, a former rival of his has advised McGregor to not come back to the UFC.
While speaking to Brett Okamoto, Holloway said that McGregor never committed to coming back. He also said that if ‘Mystic Mac’ chooses not to return, he wouldn’t blame him. ‘Blessed’ said, “With all this Conor talk and saying whatever, he never committed to coming back. He never once said that he’d come back. And rightfully so. He shouldn’t.”

Holloway further added, “Conor is what everybody wants to be. Everybody wants to get in this fight game, make the money and then save your chickens… I wouldn’t even blame him if he didn’t want to come back.”

While Holloway advises the Forbes 2021 richest athlete to not return, it seems ‘The Notorious’ has different plans. On his social media, McGregor posted images of his recovery and training, which kept fans wondering about his comeback.

Since suffering an injury and loss against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264, his return is a question in the mind of his fans. However, it seems as if they do not need to worry. ‘The Notorious’ seems pretty positive about making a comeback.
During a recent interview, McGregor revealed he would love to come back to boxing. ‘Mystic Mac’ said, “Boxing is, you know, my first love in combat sports. I had such a great time the last time I was out there.”
While he spoke of boxing, ‘The Notorious’ confirmed that his return would take place in the UFC octagon. McGregor said, “Obviously, my return will be inside the octagon for the UFC and mixed martial arts. That story is far from over. In fact, that story is just being wrote, it’s just beginning. So, you know, that’s where I will make my return.”
