Brendan Schaub talks about Jake Paul fighting Donald Cerrone
Brendan Schaub in his interview commended Jake Paul for doing his bit when it comes to fighter pay. Jake’s signing with the PFL got many talking owing to the fact that fighters would get a 50% share of the revenue for competing in the Super Fight Division. Schaub even went on to say that the YouTube influencer was doing “Lord’s work”.
The stand-up comedian stated. “Jake Paul’s brilliant right because he’s owning a piece of PFL now. And then he’s getting the fighters 50 percent. So he’s doing the Lord’s work as far as Fighters pay. It’s hard to hate on now right especially when he’s putting it all on line doing MMA.”
On the idea of Jake facing Cerrone, the former UFC Heavyweight had an interesting take. “Cowboy’s down to fight him but Cowboy’s had one contingent where you couldn’t test him because he’s Liver King right now. He’s on he’s on all the sauce and he looks fantastic so he would mess some dudes up.” claimed Schaub.
The 39 years old made this statement referencing the insane transformation Cerrone underwent recently. Although the fight sounds great, this statement by Schaub could be the main reason the duo might not face each other.
Donald Cerrone shares his opinion on Paul
The former opponent of Conor McGregor, while talking about the former Disney star, refused to bad mouth Paul, even calling it a ‘big money fight.’ In a video posted by Thiccc Boy on YouTube, Cerrone states: “The Jake Paul phenomenon is kind of crazy, it’s got everyone calling him out. It’s kind of like the big Conor push. I feel like that’s happening with Jake Paul. Everyone wants in, and I don’t see why they wouldn’t, that’s a big money fight.”

On the idea of facing him, Cowboy clearly seemed ready to go. “Would I like to fight him? How could I say no to millions of dollars? I would definitely go out there and do it. But I’m not sitting here saying, ‘Jake you’re a YouTuber, you’re not worth a f*ck, blah blah blah.’ No, man. You’re making money and if you want to throw some money my way, I’m with you.” expressed the UFC veteran.
However, Jake Paul has stated that he has his sights set on someone younger when asked about Cerrone as an opponent.
