Pearl Gonzalez lost her third outing under Jorge Masvidal‘s Gamebred Boxing to debutant Gina Mazany. Ex-UFC stars Pearl Gonzalez and Gina Mazany faced each other on the main card of Gamebred Boxing 4. The pair battled it out over 6 rounds in the squared circle. At the end of the fight, two out of three judges deemed Mazany the winner of the bout.

Gonzalez was 0-2 during her UFC run in 2017. Mazany amassed a 2-6 record during her UFC run that lasted from 2017 to 2022. “The Chi-Town Princess has a professional MMA record of 10-5 while “Danger” has an 8-6 record.

Gonzalez was coming into the fight with the confidence of two wins in two different Gamebred Boxing events. As for Mazany, she was also coming off a win against Elizabeth Schroder at FAC 17.

The 6-round boxing bout between the UFC veterans had the attention of the fans since its announcement, and it did not fail to deliver. Both Gonzalez and Mazany started strong, trading blows in the middle of the ring. The first round ended with Gonzalez having a cut on her face.

As the fight progressed, Mazany slowly gained the upper hand, landing clean shots on her opponent while Gonzalez kept looking to land her big right. However, at the end of the fourth round, “Danger” went back to her stool with a bleeding nose.

The final rounds were a battle of wills as both fighters refused to take a back step and exchanged leather in the center of the ring.

At the end of the fight, one judge ruled it a draw while the other two scored in favor of Gina Mazany to award the 34-year-old her first win in Gamebred Boxing.

Fans had quite a few reactions to that slugfest of a match.

However, many of them expressed their discontent with the scorecard and felt Pearl Gonzalez had won.
