In a conversation on episode #146 of the JRE MMA Show, Ngannou revealed that only four people knew that he had a serious knee injury before his fight against Cyril Gane at UFC 270 in January last year. These people were UFC boss Dana White, senior UFC official Hunter Campbell, his doctor, and Ngannou himself, according to ‘The Predator’.

“They know everything. When I did the MRI, he went to Dr Davison and then when he was explaining it to me, he said only for people know about this by now. Dana, Hunter, you and I,” Ngannou said. Rogan asked him if he had considered pulling out of the fight, to which the former UFC champion made another surprising revelation.
