The UFC commentator, Joe Rogan has been having a blast with his podcast guests. In his latest episode of the JRE MMA show, he had the privilege of hosting one of the greatest and dominant boxers of all time who ruled the ring for an incredible three decades and it was none other than Bernard Hopkins Jr.

Throughout his 30-year boxing career, Hopkins not only established himself as one of the fittest athletes but also left an indelible mark on the annals of history. In a recent podcast, the former boxer sheds light on the extraordinary factors that propelled his unmatched fitness journey.

As the podcast episode”JRE MMA Show #148” began, Joe Rogan and Hopkins explored a multifaceted discourse, plunging deep into the facets of Hopkins’ history, his preferences, and even scrutinizing his physical prowess. When Rogan further probed about his competency, Hopkins Smoothly offered profound insights, fostering a candid and enlightening interchange.

Rogan added to that conversation “But I’m trying to understand it just physically, I understand that you didn’t party. I understand that you’re very disciplined but how are you physically able to compete for level deep in your 40s ?”

Hopkins jr who was emotional since he was talking about his brother’s death was quick to add a response to Rogan’s inquiry. He emphasized that everything depends upon one thing and that is how you maintain your lifestyle. He added ” Because again lifestyle, because everybody else is doing what everyone has been doing. Physically I was always even to the day I pay attention to what I put in my body is who I am and what I actually look like”

Down in the conversation, Hopkins gave Floyd Mayweather‘s example to justify his answer he added “And I understood that most people in my time in boxing, Floyd’s disciplined the same way. Don’t drink, Don’t smoke, and be sitting right there in the club and everybody doing everything else”

Joe Rogan is also ripped at his age. The 57-year-old has been unbelievably fit for his age. Rogan still maintains a high level of fitness and health by following a rigorous workout regimen. He does Weightlifting, Cardio, yoga, and Martial arts daily. He also uses recovery methods such as sauna and cryotherapy to help his body heal and rejuvenate.

Rogan’s diet is also a very important segment of his profound fitness. His diet is primarily based on the concept of “Primal” eating, which means he avoids grains and refined sugars and eats mostly meat and vegetables. He holds the belief that adopting this diet will enable him to embrace a more natural and profound connection with nature. He also takes various supplements to support his health and performance, such as omega 3 and 6, vitamin D3, glucosamine chondroitin, alpha brain, and creatine.
