Conor McGregor had the biggest crossover fight in history when he faced Floyd Mayweather. The 34-year-old has always hinted at a return to the squared circle, but that is yet to happen. Nevertheless, he always gets questions about potential bouts against the top stars in boxing.
This time, it was about Canelo Alvarez. As per ‘The MacLife’, responding to the question, McGregor said, “I’m a southpaw. [John] Ryder’s a southpaw. Billy Joe [Saunders] is a southpaw. I’ve seen methods. I’ve seen things I do. And I know he’s waning. I’d fight Canelo [Alvarez] no f***ing problem.”
McGregor’s response is not at all surprising, considering his confidence about going into fights. However, Canelo Alvarez is no walk in the park. The multi-weight champion is one of the most dominant forces in boxing out there. He has won belts across four weight classes, including unified and lineal titles.
