Ever since the bout between Paul and Diaz was announced, the Stockton native has been busy training. Recently, the Instagram page of ‘Real Life Incorporated’ shared a few pictures of Diaz training hard in the gym. Along with a picture of Diaz, they wrote, “Ready to take on the child.” Diaz made sure that he shared the message on his Instagram story as a warning to his upcoming opponent.
Similar to Diaz, even Paul is working from his fingers to the bone for his bout against Diaz. He also recently shared his doping results, in which it was proven that he is not on any PEDs and is fit for fighting. Both Diaz and Paul will undergo doping tests until their match takes place.

During the pre-fight Press conference, Nate Diaz talked about how he was stereotyped as an MMA fighter all his life. The 38-year-old claims that he is a skilled boxer but had to fight in MMA first. According to Diaz, he would have become a boxer at the age of 18, but he first fought in MMA because that was the only opportunity he got.
Later, he was stuck inside the cage and was not able to get out of it for eighteen long years. He said he felt trapped inside the UFC, as there were contracts signed for him to finish. Diaz believes now is the time for him to prove his boxing skills to the world.
