The recent antics of former UFC star Nate Diaz have left many fans disappointed. The 38-year-old recently called out some of boxing’s best heavyweights in a not-so-polite X post. However, fans were quick to shut down the Stockton native with some gentle reminders and a reality check.

MMA fighters haven’t had much luck inside the boxing ring. Even though Conor McGregor made a truckload of money from his boxing match against Floyd Mayweather, he still could not beat the 50-0 undefeated legend. The most recent example of an MMA fighter falling to a boxer is Francis Ngannou‘s fight against former world champion Anthony Joshua. ‘AJ’ knocked out ‘The Predator’ in dominant fashion and ended his hype train. However, Nate Diaz begs to differ.

The iconic MMA star from Stockton, California, called out three of the most popular and successful heavyweight boxers in the modern era: Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder, and, of course, Anthony Joshua. It took everybody by surprise as Nate Diaz claimed that he could easily beat these three boxers, who are way over his weight class. “Anthony Joshua Deontay wilder Tyson fury I’ll whoop all your a**es Just so u know,” wrote Nate Diaz.

Despite showing a lot of confidence in claiming that he could beat Joshua, Fury, and Wilder, fans did not seem too sure about the Stockton native’s claims. Here’s what they had to say.

Nate Diaz checked for overzealous boxing claims

Nate Diaz’s antics may have left a bad taste in the mouths of the fans. Some of them even suggested that the former UFC star should avoid trying to embarrass himself by making such statements about fighting heavyweight boxers.

Although the fans do not think Nate Diaz can beat Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder, and Tyson Fury, they certainly think that the Stockton native can easily grab a good paycheck if he ever competed in such a crossover boxing match.

One fan reminded Diaz that his claims had no basis since he lost to YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul a few months ago.

A user on Twitter (X) shared his honest take on Nate Diaz.

Some fans suggested that the only fight that made sense for the Stockton native was his fighting former rival Conor McGregor for a third time.

They also believe that Nate Diaz might have been incoherent when he called out the heavyweight boxing trio on social media.
