UFC fighter Nate Diaz has been inactive since losing to Leon Edwards at UFC 263. The former BMF title challenger, who wants to move to bigger things in his career, has been asking the UFC for one last fight for a while. As he wants to complete his contract soon, Stockton’s own has provided an ultimatum to the promotion.

In a new tweet, the Stockton native shared a video of Jake Paul knocking out Tyron Woodley in their second boxing bout. Diaz wrote, “Ufc release now please or give me fight with anyone in July or august I have bigger sh*t to do.”

By sharing the video, Nate Diaz has seemingly confirmed that he will be facing Paul in a boxing match in the future. However, the UFC fighter first needs to either complete his contract with the promotion or get released by them.
Paul, who had previously been calling out UFC fighters to fight him, had also called out Nate Diaz. Thus, it looks like fans might soon get to see Diaz in the boxing ring.
The younger Diaz brother is coming off two recent losses against Jorge Masvidal and Leon Edwards. The fighter has a good ground game and hence, seeing him purely box would be an interesting thing to witness.

Many had appreciated ‘The Notorious’ for trying out a new sport when he entered the ring against Floyd Mayweather in 2017. Hence, with Diaz wanting to enter the ring against Paul, UFC and boxing fans have an exciting bout to watch out for.

Back in 2021, Diaz slammed the Paul brothers. Jake Paul and Logan Paul’s entry into the boxing business has resulted in a lot of noise around the sport.

In fact, Jake Paul’s matches against Tyron Woodley were huge. ‘The Problem Child’ had called out Diaz, who had attended their second contest.
The UFC welterweight fighter took to Instagram to take a dig at them by calling them “The Paul sisters”. Thus, if Jake Paul and Nate Diaz were to enter a boxing match, it would be absolutely huge considering both are crowd-pullers.
