Muhammad Ali’s grandson, Biaggio Ali Walsh, picked up his third amateur win in PFL 2, which went down on April 7th. While his first-round win was no doubt impressive, what got fans buzzing was YouTuber turned-boxer Jake Paul‘s offer for the 24-year-old. Paul, who is currently partnered with the PFL, had claimed that he’d take on Walsh and even his brother Nico Ali in MMA and boxing.
Following these comments, Walsh, in an interview, shared his take on the offer. While he did not lash out at Paul for the call-out, the 24-year-old did have a compelling question for the YouTuber-turned-boxer. Interestingly, Jake Paul’s association with the PFL also means that the 26-year-old is rumored to make his MMA debut sometime soon in the future.

Responding to a question about Jake Paul’s claim that he’d take on Walsh in an MMA cage, the 24-year-old dismissed the YouTuber’s remarks, asking why Paul didn’t fight anyone in his weight class.
“I have no problem with Jake Paul, but he should fight someone his own size. I don’t know why he’s trying to fight people smaller than him,” he stated.
Walsh also pointed out that the younger Paul brother had his previous boxing bouts at 185 and asked him to find an opponent at 185 if he wanted to step into an MMA cage.
“He fought at 185 cruiserweights in boxing. Fight at 185 in MMA,” he said. Ultimately, Walsh added a statement that could sum up pretty much every Jake Paul callout. Shutting down the offer, he exclaimed “Fight somebody your own size.”
For context, Walsh fights at lightweight, which is considerably smaller than the weight class Jake Paul competes. Despite the inequality in weight Paul made an enticing offer for Ali’s offspring.
Jake Paul claims he’ll fight both Nico Ali and Biaggio in boxing and MMA
Paul was asked about facing both of Muhammad Ali’s grandsons during a live watch along of PFL 2. The YouTuber-turned-boxer displayed the same brash confidence he is known for. He claimed that he was down for those fights and that he’d beat both of them.
Interstingly, Nico Ali too competes in a smaller division, which was also pointed out by Walsh during the same interview.
