Sean Strickland is one of the most popular fighters on the current UFC roster. He is a former champion and is currently in a great financial position as well. Despite that, the former champion mentioned he is not currently in a good mental state, feeling like he’s a danger to people around him. Strickland stated, “I’ve been on Twitter saying crazy sh*t, just f***ing spiraling. I woke up and I told my girl, I was like, ‘Babe, I feel like I’m a danger to people.'”

Things have not been going well for ‘Tarzan’ due to his ongoing mental health struggles despite being in a great place in his career. “I’m rich, I’m famous, I have everything I ever f***ing wanted and I am still mentally unwell,” said Strickland in a video he posted on Instagram. Not only that, but he also revealed that he constantly has destructive thoughts of inflicting harm on people.
“I get in these mindsets to where, like I want to burn everything down in the world. Like, I want to have nothing, so I can just f***ing lose it and just take out everything on people,” Sean Strickland added. It is a concerning situation for ‘Tarzan’ given that mental health is not something new to MMA fighters. Despite constant battles with his demons, Strickland is striving to be better and even wished his fans and followers well to end his Instagram video.
Conor McGregor reveals dispute regarding his UFC contract
‘The Notorious’ recently sat down with Adam Catterall of ‘talkSPORT‘ for an interview, revealing his situation with the UFC. While revealing his wish to fight twice in 2024, Conor McGregor is still yet to get a green light from Dana White despite his willingness to make a comeback soon. When asked about his announcement regarding a June 29 return, which the UFC CEO dismissed, the Irishman responded by claiming that he had been pushing for a return during International Fight Week, following a fight at the MSG Sphere, since he has two fights left on his contract.
“I would love that if they give me that and then we can go ahead and straight away, you know… That would be great for me June 29th, and then the sphere,” said McGregor. However, there is still no word regarding that from Dana White. The Irish fighter also appears eager to settle his contract quickly, with rumors suggesting he might not renew with the promotion once it expires, as he made a mysterious remark reagrding his futre in White’s promotion. “Then what happens, we’ll see,” said McGregor. It remains to be seen how things pan out for Conor McGregor in the months to come.

Dana White disses Jake Paul’s fight against Mike Tyson
Mike Tyson shocked the combat sports world when he announced his return to boxing on July 20. He will be taking on YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul, in his first fight since his 2020 exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr. Many people have expressed their concern for Tyson given that he will be 58 years old when he makes his return, as some people could not help but take a jibe at Paul for choosing to fight someone in his late 50s.
Hollywood star Scott Eastwood recently shared a story on Instagram, where he aimed at Jake Paul by sharing an edited poster of ‘The Problem Child’ fighting with his father, the legendary Clint Eastwood, who’s 93 years old. Scott tagged Dana White in the post, who has had a longstanding beef with Paul, who later shared the post on his Instagram handle as a means to ridicule the 27-year-old YouTube sensation. It will be interesting to see how ‘The Problem Child’ fares against Mike Tyson since many believe that the former boxing world champion can still be as tough in his 50s as he was in his 20s inside the squared circle.
