The UFC 303 press conference’s cancelation hasn’t affected anybody as much as it has Michael Chandler. For over 18 months, ‘Iron’s been steadily and patiently waiting, and building up his fight against Conor McGregor, only to witness that things are looking sketchy at the moment. There are also rumors that ‘The Notorious’ is injured, which puts his fight in jeopardy here. But what can he do here? He’s not at fault here, but it seems like Chandler’s giving up his hopes of ever getting that big payday as he left his training camp in South Florida. However, he’s still game for that fight.

“If you’re looking for me, I’ll be out in Tennessee. No way out of the life we chose,” wrote Michael Chandler on Instagram. He would end the message with his classic catchphrases “Walk On” and “See you at the top!” It seems like Daniel Cormier’s analysis of this fight’s situation could be coming true, but guess what? the UFC still hasn’t canceled the fight yet.
If this is turning out to be a nightmare for Dana White, a former champion has come in to save UFC 303, and that’s none other than Alexander Volkanovski.
Alexander Volkanovski is available for another short-notice gig
Alexander Volkanovski had a horrible time out when he stepped into the cage last time on short notice. What was expected to be a back-and-forth fight like the one before that, Islam Makhachev destroyed ‘The Great’ with a head kick. However, the former featherweight champion doesn’t seem too afraid of those sorts of challenges. As such, Volkanovski has offered himself to Dana White should he ever require a main event replacement as the Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler fight’s been rumored to be uncertain.
The former champion shared a story on his Instagram of a post that was captioned: “If Conor can’t make UFC 303, I know a guy.” He would also talk to Submission Radio about the situation and revealed that taking big fights is the only option for him when it’s on short notice. “I wouldn’t just take any fight cuz like you said, it’s like a big deal… I might have to save the day, I’ll save the day,” Alexander Volkanovski stated. Now, it’s only a matter of time before we see if he will replace Conor McGregor or not.

Jake Paul takes a dig at Dana White
‘The Problem Child’s fight with Mike Tyson has been postponed, which has led many people to form their own theories regarding the mess. Apparently, Dana White claimed to have known many things about that boxing match but refrained from talking about it. The UFC CEO said, “Obviously I know a lot about it but I’m not going to talk about it publicly. For the first time in all my life, I have no comment on something,” during the UFC 302 presser.
The 54-year-old would also claim that Mike Tyson does like other people talking about his business and hence, he had nothing to say about the postponed boxing matchup. “That’s Mike’s world, and he gets p***ed every time I talk about that stuff so. Good for him, they’ll figure it out,” Dana White added. How did you think Jake Paul responded to these comments? Well, the YouTuber-turned-boxer decided to mock the UFC boss with his own words while taking a dig at Conor McGregor’s UFC 303 situation.

“People keep asking me about Conor McGregor / UFC 303. Obviously, I know a lot about it, but I’m not going to talk about it publicly,” tweeted Jake Paul. “For the first time probably ever in my life, I have no comment on something. That’s their world, and you know, they get pissed at me every time I talk about that stuff. Good for them and they’ll figure it out,” ‘The Problem Child’ added. Certainly, Paul will take every chance he gets to diss Dana White, but what does that mean about his boxing match? We will have to wait for that answer.
